Underground Storage Tank Management
Enginex uses a two-phase approach to assess and manage underground storage tank removal. The first phase includes soil and groundwater assessment by collecting and analyzing soil, soil-gas, and groundwater samples. The findings are used to develop the most feasible strategy for tank closure. The second phase consists of the actual tank closure activities and remediation procedures necessary for site clean-up. If a tank meets the necessary state UST qualifications, the closure activities may include applying for a state reimbursement that could recover a significant percentage of the cleanup cost.
